Arbutus Health and Wellness does not bill insurance directly. Upon request, we can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Insurance coverage varies by plan, and not all services may be covered. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your specific benefits and coverage.

Your first appointment is an opportunity for Dr. Sarah to get to know you and understand the whole picture of your health. She'll talk with you about your life experiences, past injuries or trauma, lifestyle, movement, symptoms, and health and wellness goals.
By taking the time to understand what you've experienced and how your body is functioning today, Dr. Sarah can begin to identify the areas that may be affecting your ability to heal and determine how best to support you.
The goal isn't simply to address a symptom. It's about understanding your body, identifying what it needs, and beginning to build a path toward greater health and resilience.

Your comfort is an important part of your care. The level of sensation or discomfort you experience will vary depending on the type of care you're receiving and your individual needs.
Some techniques may create a feeling of pressure, stretching, or temporary soreness, but care should not be painful. Dr. Sarah will work with you at a pace that feels appropriate for your body and will adjust her approach based on your body’s response.
Our goal is never to force your body into healing. Instead, we work with your body to provide the support it needs to move, adapt, and heal.
